Ask in your own words

Questions to carry into a visit.

Pick the questions that match what is still unclear. Leave space beside each one for the answer.

Ask about the person

  • Who will assess me, and which type of licence does that person hold?
  • Where can I read that licence record?
  • Does their licence or other permission cover the state where I will be?

Ask about the reason for care

  • What do you think is causing the problem I described?
  • Which established options fit that problem?
  • What would make you decline the treatment I asked about?

Ask about evidence and uncertainty

  • Which study in people supports this use?
  • Did it compare treatments, and what did it actually measure?
  • What remains unknown for someone with my health history?

The public study list at ClinicalTrials.gov showed, as of September 2026, that a China study for injuries to muscles at the back of the thigh had begun. The planned US study after shoulder surgery had not begun. Neither study had reported results.

Ask about the substance and source

  • Has the proposed BPC-157 product received approval from FDA, the US agency responsible for medicine reviews?
  • What is the full ingredient name, who makes it, and how will you check that it matches what you ordered?
  • Which pharmacy would prepare or supply it?
  • What was tested on this particular batch?

The answer to the approval question is no as of September 2026; FDA has approved no BPC-157 product.

Ask about the bill and the next step

  • What is the full charge, and what is billed apart?
  • What repeats, and how can I cancel it?
  • How can I ask about a problem after the visit?
  • What happens if we choose a different plan?
